What can you submit?
Written media:
> Poetry (<700 words)
> Prose (<3,000 words)
> Flash fiction (<2,000 words)
> Essays (<6,000 words)
(Please cite sources for informative essays)
Note: these word counts are not strictly enforced. For works on the longer side, subheadings are greatly appreciated.
Visual media:
> Collages
> Photography
> Digital art
> Traditional art (scans)
Multiple submissions and simultaneous submissions are allowed.
What you can't submit:
> Video/audio
(incompatible format)
> Content endorsing bigotry
(note, discussing ≠ endorsing)
> Smut
> Plagiarized/AI content
We’re not that strict about formatting, but we do ask that written submissions be sent as text documents rather than images, and that easily legible fonts are used.
Formatting:
We do accept works in foreign languages as long as translations are provided.
Translations:
We accept previously published works, provided you retain the rights to republish them with us. If you’re submitting a piece that has appeared elsewhere, please include the original publication source.
Published works:
You’re welcome to republish any work originally featured in our magazine, as long as you credit us as the original source.
